Impact of Training on Improving Efficiency in Sport Games and Social Status of Persons in Special Institutions in BiH

Abstract: 
''Special Olympics'' in BiH was established in 1998. in Tuzla, and has since successfully exist. Besides the'' Special Olympics'' in BiH was established in another organization ''Unified Sports“, which also organizes sports events for children with and without mental deficiency in BiH. These organizations have the primary objective of this population socializing with sporting activities. Thanks to these organizations, each institution in BiH dealing with children with mental deficiency (Institutions for persons with mental disability, primary and secondary special schools, associations of parents of children with developmental disabilities and other organizations that assist people with disabilities) has a sports section, which give rise to special sports clubs. Competitions are not only a goal but a means by which the interests of children for physical activity. Tests were conducted in Zenica, Tuzla and Banja Luka, a total of 74 patients, easy and moderate mental deficiency, aged 14-22 years.
Related research is not done in BiH and the region.
The main task was to determine the effects of basketball and football to improve efficiency in basketball and football and sociological status of persons in special institutions of BiH.
