Impact of the Experimental Program Onto the Developement of Functional Abilities by the Young Football Players
Abstract:
The main aim of research is determining the effects of the experimental program by the appliance of “cycle” shape of work onto the development of functional abilities in the experimental group of footballers. The sample of examinees contained a total of 66 healthy persons of male sex, primary schools pupils in the Banja Luka region, of age of 12 years ± 6 months. An overall sample of examinees was divided into two sub-samples. The first sub-sample, 33 of them, made an experimental group. Those examinees were put into this group who, having been tested, were directed to football in the clubs of the Banja Luka region. Another sub-sample, 33 of them, made a control group, who only had a regular schooling of physical education in school as mode of organized physical activity. In both sub-samples, at the initial and final measurement, four tests were applied in order to estimate functional abilities. An experimental program was run within the additional schooling of the physical education with 36 classes by use of “cycle” mode of work, with the view of raising the level of functional abilities. Transformations of the functional abilities at the end of experimental period at the both sub-samples were determined by the analysis of variance at the multi-variant and mono-variant level. Results proved that statistically significant positive transformations of the functional abilities were determined in the final measurement in comparison with the initial condition in the experimental group at the multi-variant level ( Q=.000). In the control group no statistically significant changes of the functional abilities were determined in the end of experimental period under the influence of schooling of physical education ( Q=.102 ).
